Technical Staff?

I have noticed that many forum's and I mean many site's have technician's, but all these site's I have noticed are pretty inactive or have a fair amount of activity to their site but not as much, but that is not what this discussion is about.

Have you ever found yourself stuck and honestly wanting help out with technical or coding problem's, and you need that extra hand for someone to stretch out and help you, so my question today is have you ever found yourself or a friend in that position needing a technician and what's was the need for this technician to come out and help you?

I honestly don't trust anyone but myself with my site's FTP access and database information.
